Clinton wins surprise support from former French first lady

PARIS (Reuters) - U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton won surprise backing from the wife of former French President Jacques Chirac on Thursday, together with a pledge to join her on the campaign trail.

It has to be difficult being a First Lady, sitting in the background, watching that man in your life either screwing up or being attacked continually. (I often wonder what Laura really thinks and feels about it all.)

Whether one likes Hillary or not you have to admire the insurgence of female power that is building momentum in many areas around the world.
I like knowing I'm not the only one tired of white men rule.

Chirac Under Investigation

'A French judge has placed former President Jacques Chirac under formal investigation for suspected embezzlement of public funds during his time as mayor of Paris, Chirac's lawyer Jean Veil said on Wednesday.'

Many male leaders seem to get their egos all tangled up with power, corruption, war etc.

I tend to think men have bigger egos than women and am pretty sure it has to be genetics, although I'm not sure if Ego-size is a DNA thing or male-oriented society thing.

If we finally elect a woman for president here in the so-called most progressive country, maybe the severe atrocities against women in the Congo, Afganistan, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia will start to diminish.

A woman can only hope..
