Hurricane season begins June 1 and Mother Nature is screaming.  First, the cyclone in Burma, fires in FL, tornados all over the place and now an earthquake in China, I feel nothing but dread.  Can we be protected?  Not entirely, but the Corp could at least try to accomplish what the Dutch have mastered.

Are you one of the "worried well"?  http://www.bestofneworleans.com/...  I know I am one of the "worried well".  I am fortunate enough to be able to get help and spend much time, money and energy researching medical and legal matters or in consultation with the mental health professionals and attorneys. But, even with my resources questions remain:  "What will the next day bring?  What about unexpected catastrophe?  Will all the energy invested in rebuilding be pulled out from under us?  What about the next disaster?"  

This is my first diary, lurker since 2004 and commenter beginning in 2005, I think.  I am a Katrina survivor and live in LA 01.  Never wrote my Katrina story as it never ends and the lack of justice just goes on and on, a new insult every single day.  I will give a brief overview of my initial Katrina experience.
